چکیده
The problem of the use and disposal horticultural substrates is an important element optimization plastic greenhouse production in terms economic environmental efficiency. mineral associated with a high energy expenditure, which generates costs gas (GHG) emissions. An factor also transport professional over long distances. research objective was to evaluate possibility using sheep wool create hydroponic cucumber. modifier technology various origins. experiment based on two substrates: one conventional substrate, made wool, other greasy Gissar considered waste or nuisance byproduct farming today. adopted functional unit 1 ton commercial cucumber yield. boundaries system were soil formation, fertilization, irrigation, harvesting. amount GHG emissions calculated accordance ISO 14040 14044 standards. results show that as substrate cultivation cucumbers reduced yield by approximately 8%, but it allowed for higher efficiency water fertilizer per crop mass unit. Within boundary, value carbon footprint object 276.9 kg CO2 eq · Mg?1. this parameter 193.9 did not increase phytosanitary risk cultivated plants. goal achieving sustainability, especially food production, materials are easily recyclable renewable, locally available, environmentally friendly. soilless rational solution, material consists 60% animal protein fibers, 10% fat, 15% moisture, sweat, average 5% impurities. This makes recyclable, friendly source raw contrary rockwool, produces difficult manage natural environment. In countries Central Asia, population 20 million; therefore, potential agricultural significant.

Utilization of Waste Wool as Substrate Amendment in Pot Cultivation of Tomato, Sweet Pepper, and Eggplant
Sheep wool can be a waste products of sheep husbandry. Its safe utilization evokes several serious problems. Therefore, it was of interest to check out the usefulness of wool as a fertilizer and/or substrate. The aim of the experiments reported in this paper was to evaluate the effect of the washed sheep wool used as an amendment to peat-based growing substrate on growth and yield of tomato, sw...
متن کاملEvaluation of Crossbreeding Effects for Wool Traits in Sheep
Crossbreeding effects for wool quality traits viz. greasy fleece weight (kg), staple length (cm), average fibre diameter (μ) and medulation percentage were estimated using the Dickerson’s and Kinghorn’s models. The data analyzed involved 15 genetic groups including Nali purebred, F1’s of two and three breeds, F2’s and reciprocal crossbred obtained from the crossing of Nali (N), Merino (M) and C...

But the most striking new and ...

متن کاملA suggested mode of inheritance for wool shedding in sheep.
The ability of a sheep to shed its own wool has an attraction in scenarios where the costs of harvesting wool outweigh its value. Certain breeds and composites have the ability to shed their wool in the spring, and these are investigated in this work in an attempt to outline the genetics of wool shedding. One flock from a breeding group in Southern England (UK) containing sheep with wool-sheddi...
